Does it have to be recorded by The Beatles themselves are a other artists covering them OK?

if that's the case my all time favorite Beatles song is "Eleanor Rigby" - the live version done by the Crusaders on their 1973 "Scratch" LP
Also Al Jarraue made "She's Leaving Home" into a jazzy ballad in 1978 (On the "All Fly Home" set)

sorry if i ruined the intended purpose of the thread

Paperback Writer will always be my favourite Beatles track. It marked the dawn of a new era, especially for them.
    Otherwise BITD:
    Revolution
    Get Back
    Hard Day's Night
    Strawberry Fields Forever

Maturity has made me reappraise the Beatles, so that I couldn't care if I never heard another one of their records.

    'All You Need Is Love'
    'Day Tripper'
    'And I Love Her'
    'I Feel Fine'
'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away' (John Lennon wrote this for their gay & typically, at the time, tragic manager Brian Epstein; a track I can definitely relate to. :( )
    ...ya gotta beat the street......

How about some Beatles that you can dance to????

    My picks:

    1) Get Back
    2) Birthday
    3) Lady Madonna
    4) Back In The USSR
    5) Drive My Car
    6) Got To Get You Into My Life
    7) Revolution
    8. Good Day Sunshine
    9) She Loves You
    10) I'm Down

Not necessarily known for their "dance beat"-- except maybe for their covers of old R&B classics in their early LPs...these would be the non-cover Beatles I might play at a party. :D

    And you?
