    Rare Salsoul on vinyl

Salsoul Orchestra: "How High"/"Take Some Time Out" 12" (Salsoul/UK)

Two more ultra collectable classics from the Salsoul Orchestra. First up the ultra rare Larry Levan mix of How High (the first even 12" release for this piece of mix magic). On the flipside we're proud to supply a hugely in-demand collectors item; the impossibly rare Take Some Time Out For Love; now going for a massive stg 100,00 in the original Salsoul 12" sleeve...if you can even find it!

    Loleatta Holloway: "Dreamin" 12" (Salsoul/UK)

"Dreamin" is disco diva Loleatta Holloway at her midi 70's peak with the deadly reliable Norman Harris on production duties. "Dreamin" is impossible to find on 12" these days and, in fact, we think this is the first time it's ever been issued in the UK, so another instant collectors item! Also includes a Satoshi Tomiie remix previously only avaliable in Japan!!

I once saw the LP with "Take some time out..." on it, in a shop. It only cost about £7, but I didn't buy it because it was too scratched up. :-? That's the trouble with collecting old vinyl, espesh from the '70s. One reason why I've stopped collecting for the time being.

I paid $6 Cnd for my copy of that album. Quite interesting as it has nothing in common with the Salsoul Orch albums of the 70s...

Isn't 'Heat It Up' the LP? The rarity claims are even more outlandish than usual. Neither '...Time Out...' nor 'How High' are that hard to get and never have been. I actually prefer the original version of 'How High', with the natty little sax motif.
What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
