Hi! I was just listening to a great Divine mega mix! I didn't realise that he had recorded so many tracks, I especially like Jungle Jezabell.

And the track where a guy asked Divine "where are you going!" To which Divine answers "Out!" then he asks Out where! then Divine says "Out to Have a Good Time!"

One more thing! can any tell me if Amanda Lear was born a women! Love her stuff! Just wondering with a deep thoaty voice like that!

The Amanda Lear/Salvador Dali connection is interesting by the way - Amanda was Salvador's muse during the early seventies when the artist held his famed surrealist balls. These happenings paraded celebrities, fashion figures, midgets and scenemakers of all sorts, all dressed or undressed in spectacular manner, painted, feathered and showcased on podiums. The music played, Dali was carried around, Lautreamontian and Ernstian concepts of matings between umbrellas and sewing machines were eroticised and bettered and made flesh. As the centerpiece of it all, Amanda glittered. And indeed, she was born a natural woman, just like Romy Haag - Berling legend Romy confessed this in Interview magazine. I met someone on a secondhand trade who told me that his best friend did his military service with amanda lear (as HIM) when he was young. The guy promised it to me ( :o )

Once more and with feeling: family pictures of a pre-teen Amanda Lear have been published in quite a number of magazines over the last 5 years - give up guys, she's a lady. Same goes for romy, she revealed in interview how her "scandalous past" was all a shrewd fabrication or more accurately, an artistic creation concerning gender illusions.
