Due to an a eye injury, I haven't been able to thoroughly check all posts for the last few days and have only scanned some topics. Lo and behold today I finally decide to check the "pre-Disco" thread and found inappropriate remarks and worst of all replies to it. More annoying is that none of the regulars, who have my personal e-mail address, bothered to inform me, but decided to rant and rave on the forums.

Effective immediately:

Anyone posting derogatory remarks and those dumb enough to respond to it, will have their posts deleted and/or edited. We are all adults here, let's act like it. If someone posts anything meant to offend... then ignore them, shun them from the community, don't give them any fuel -- don't interact with them. It's not rocket science folks.

I also agree.

I cannot stand fights happening in this forum because it's been a very friendly forum right up until a couple of months ago.

I really don't want to see this forum become a Yahoo teenage chat room because when I use to drop into those sort of chat rooms everybody abuses the hell out of each other with the name calling and picking fights, even I ended up joining when they started abusing me, it was like the Jerry Springer Show.

And I've just read Boodikka's post saying she's leaving, it's so sad that things have went this far, we'll really miss her. I guess when things have calmed down in the forum one of us should send her an email letting her know the board is back to normal again.

If someone doesn't agree with what another said then that person should say his/her piece by sending an email or a private message to the other person who he/she disagrees with that way other people on the board such as myself and others will not see the name calling and the shear anger that's been posted on the board lately.

I may disagree with what some people have posted but I'm not going to abuse the hell out of them on the board but ask why they said what they said. I'm still shaken up with what happened a couple of months back with Fantomas and Hustlebaby. I really hope Fantomas and Hustlebaby can somehow sort out their differences and become friends again because I just cannot stand seeing people on this board hating each other's guts and holding grudges.

Please could everybody make up and become friends again.

I've been a member of this forum almost two years now and its been enjoyable to my standards up until a few months ago. As long as I've been here, I have NEVER created/ posted any derogatory topics about someone's race or sexuality! Unfortunately, I cannot say that about some of the topics that have been posted by some of your members, over the last several months. And you know who they are. I'm sorry but if I hear or see something thats totally fucked up I'm gonna address it! Sometimes I bite my tongue, sometimes I don't.

OBVIOUSLY we have some members that are anti-black and/or gay that should be evicted from this board! If anyone who is being juvenile its them - not me! So from now on I'm not gonna respond to bullshit topics. I'm gonna do what I originally came here to do which is talk about music.

But replying is what those people want, so to not give them any satisfaction, the best thing is to ignore those posts. That's how I feel anyways. Why get involved in a fight? It's not worth it.

I agree with Bernie, but we have to be prepared to situations like that one, there's always the stupid of the moment. I remember some years ago I was criticizing some worse words posts and I was the only one to do that. Let's remember all the pushing we made to Bernie to avoid unknown posts and with the same force let's push away all who may disturb this forum.

Yeah, it's my personal homepage. I admit that I'm no expert when it comes to webpage designing (I know I suck at it), and that website is some stuff that I slopped up over the last three years. Recently I did some updating of it for the first time in at least two years, and I plan to add more when time permits. By the way, I hope this doesn't look like I'm promoting the website because I'm actually not.

Now if only Death (aka Smekerman) would realize that. He's just a wanker who is only out to start fights. He's annoying to the max. You may recall my posts here about the flame war he started with me at this other message board (I've mentioned this several times here). No wonder why I bailed from it (it wasn't my guestbook), and thank God I found this one. Now you understand why I'm so against flame wars, especially here. As for Death, he needs to get a fucking life.
