Just founded a new house label

    Hi everybody,

I'm writing this post to inform you that I've just created a new house music label with a friend in paris.

Our first EP, "kiss & run" will be released in two weeks. It contains one house club track, "kiss & run" on the A-side and a pure electro track on the B-Side, "far Wars".

As we are only distributed in Paris, I'm afraid you'll never see our record, but you can visit our oficial website ( Sorry Bernie for this little promotion) : www.indecencerecords.com

You'll find there links to listen the tracks in real audio, and you will also see my face :)

Thanks for your attention, and prey with me that we succeed :)

    Hi Com King
Congratulations on your new label and website! Nicely done :)
I listened to Kiss & Run a bit. It's got a slight euro-disco feel to it with some more recent house stylings on top! I'm sure this should get many going on the dance floor.

Way2Go & good luck with future projects! 8)

Hi Discodisk, The reaction on the dancefloor has been excellent, especially for the electro track of the B-Side, "Far Wars".

The A-side is a little bit more commercial in my opinion. Both tracks are well mastered, well mixed, we payed a lot of attention to that because we think that one of the major element for a track to work on a dance floor.

    Do you like the EP?

ComKing: Don't want to piss on your parade and sincerely wish you all the luck in the world, but......I thought you might have issued something with more of a disco influence, more of a soul and more musical.
In all seriousness, I especially think the drum programming is none too clever. Unless I'm absolutely missing the point, which I may well be doing, both tracks take 7 or 8 minutes to go absolutely nowhere, but I guess that's the state of play circa 2004.
I hope this critique will encourage you to take a few chances and make something extraordinary next time.

BTW: I liked the freshness of the website. The hundreds of photos on the opening page gives it a warm, family like feeling.

I'm sure he can take it on the chin. If he's serious about what he's doing, he'll have to take some criticism along with the pats on the back.

It would be sad if everybody had the same tastes. Quinny I take your critique for what it is, a (personal :)) way to encourage me.

I think that those tracks do unfortunately not match what you like in music and I wasn't expecting that you could like them. But as you say, we still got plenty of time to produce more soulful and groovy tracks. :)

Still, the feedback for both tracks is good, and I hope that we will sell enough records to be able to issue another one, as we already have other productions waiting ...

And keep on giving me your opinions, they are really important for us, even if you think like Quinny ... :)

Romain! I just wanted to give you a belated congratulations for your awesome site, I still haven't listened to the song but I'm hoping to do so today.

What I liked more was the intro...esp. the Giselle pic :P

    Au revoir!

Nice site! Cool graphics! Now all you've got to do is to convince Ms. Staton to record a "comeback". :D
