    Hi there!
Who has some info about this artist or group or what it is? I have never heard about it.
I look for the song "Bolero 77". Does anybody where is it released, 12" or LP?
    Thanks
    Masdefi

    Masdefi,

there are several posts in the board about Kebekelektrik. Check them out!
This was a canadian act that released several records in Canada & USA (on Rio, TK and Salsoul labels). The name means Quebec Electric and Gino Soccio was the man behind this name.
The track you are searching for is on the Salsoul LP titled Kebekelektrik, from 1979.
It was a floor filler at the Baia (you know what I mean!).

Don't buy it for THAT price. The album is worth 5-10 US $

Indeed. The Unidisc CD reissue includes both the original Canadian version of the album (on Disques Direction) and the Salsoul versions which were remixed by Tom Moulton. Actually, it's pretty much got everything Kebekelektrik did except the original 12" mix of Magic Fly (the TK version, produced by Tony Green) which is pretty weak, and "Journey Into Love"; which appears to have never actually been released -- my copy plays "Magic Fly" and has the same catalog #.

Isao Tomita also released an all-electronic version of Bolero at around this time, and it somehow became a chart hit in the UK. It's not really danceable though...

Yes but it is so involving. That was a top hit specially in some clubs in Italy (as Giovanni said, the "Baia", what a night...)
