Is there any DVD comps of classic Disco?

The only one I can think of is "Disco Inferno" which is a compilation from an old German TeeVee show.

Kool And The Gang :D and Donna Summer (I'm in love) are on Universal's 20'th Century Masters Series. And you can find ABBA and BEE GEEs DVDs. That's all I know of.

During the height of the Disco Era, Dick Clark featured [u]countless numbers of disco acts on American Bandstand! It would be great if Mr. Clark would assmble a DVD compilation of various disco performers throughout the years on Bandstand...I remember that Dick even featured acts like Hope, Faith, & Charity ...One of his shows was an "all disco day" on Bandstand! It was great! Good question... 8) Take Care Mario

Promo Only, which is a professional dj service organization, has a DVD series. Check out their site and see what's offered. I know there's a "Best of 70s" in there.

Do you by chance have the original 1977 video promo clip for Cerrone "Supernature"? Not the 1994 clip. Or the Love & Kisses "Accidental Lover" clip? Those are 2 very obscure non TV performance clips I saw 1 time and wish I had.

Wow, that best of '70s DVD looks great, but not being a professional DJ, I cannot order it - too bad!

I just purchased a new compilation called Disco Inferno, put out on Universal Music Australia. Its a 2CD set with bonus DVD, 20 tracks on each CD and 13 tracks on DVD. The tracks are a good mix of commercial tracks, two tracks I don't understand being on the compilation are the Nolans with Im in the mood for dancing and Leo Sayer You make me feel like dancing!
The DVD has originial artists performing born to be alive, get down on it!, I love the nightlife, I will survive, ring my bell, you sexy thing, Boggie Oogie oogie, Dancing queen, Don't leave me this way, Heaven must be missing a angel, I feel love, you make me feel mighty real and celebration. This to me is a big deal to have released local (Australia), so I hope its just the begining of more to come and the record companies take Disco serious instead of releasing budget crap!
Also the DVD has a top 50 list, Interactive Disco Quiz and some text on the origins of Disco. Cheers Guys!

I looked at the list at this site, and have to say that many years aback I managed to record most of those promo videos onto VHS, from a little known satellite channel called VH-1.
