please help identify this disco song for me!!!

the song was from the late 70's and was popular on disco radio....sung by a woman, had a very odd 2-step beat right before the chorus....some of the lyrics were (and i'm probably not dead right on these!): "cheek to cheek we'll dance together, waiting for our song" and the chorus definately had the words "watch us doing the 2-step now"....i thought it might be melba moore, loleeta holliday, salsoul orchestra etc. but no luck on those....i assumed the title of the song was "2-step" but no luck on that either. i have searching for 20 years....please somebody help me or take a big guess for me!

I'm thinking of THP Orchestra...they did a "Weekend Two Step" in 1978. Maybe that's the one?

That IS for sure THP - Weekend Two Step..no doubt about it. Lyrics are exact in description
