Ok, was wondering if anyone can help me out here..is there any soundtracks around out there or a place to get late 70s gay disco porn music? My best friend is gay and he let me hear over the phone some of the music in some rare gay porn he has from the late 70s..and this music is solid!!!!!!!! Like Costandinos meets Charlie's Angels. Can anyone direct me to somewhere to get this type music? Any help apreciated.

oooh this is a good thread!!!!
it's true that '70s porn music kicks *ss.
in my experience, gay porn from the '70s and even the early '80 lifted much of its soundtrack music directly from vinyl without regard to copyright. i've even heard some great obscure disco cuts on vintage vhs tapes and then later stumbled upon the original records.
jacques morali, the producer of the village people, produced a gay porn movie and of course featured village people tracks throughout the film. there's even a great disco scene in it where the "actors" dance to "macho man." the title escapes me at the moment, but i'll figure it out if one of you doesn't beat me to it.
The Gage Brother's porn classic "El Paso Wrecking Co." uses Easy Going's "Baby I Love You" in the early bar scene where Richard Locke & Wil Seagers (later a SF DJ) meet and feel the heat.![]()
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
70s gay porn is the only gay porn I like!! :D
I have a fantastic early 80s one which has some brilliant 70s funked-up disco.... must look into it.
Womb Prayer!
I remember you mentioning this to me a while back Jimmy. Finding out what it actually is could be a serious challenge. I'd still love to hear it though.Originally Written by DJ Jimmy M
There does seem to be some pretty good music on '70s porn movies (or so I've heard...cue nervous cough) - there are killer obscurities which I wouldn't have a clue where to find. Obviously, I like the funkier ones best - and I used to have some tapes which had serious, 'Rhodes-laden fusion soundtracks.
I was quite surprised when I first saw the mainstream movie, 'Cruisin'' - Mutiny's 130 BPM nastay funk belter, 'Lump', was pumping away within the first five minutes, in a gay bar scene.
I'd like to see this video. Is it still available anywhere?Originally Written by sfbeary
I still have the vinyl LP of "The Devil In Miss Jones" that came out when the movie was released in '72 or '73. The music is very well done especially the track "Ladies In Love" which was background music to a lesbian scene with Georgina Spelvin, Claire Lumere, a waterbed and a bowl full of body oil. HOT!!!!!!!!! :D
One of the best gay porn films ever also happens to feature "Bad Girls" and "Sunset People" in its scenes set in a sleazy bar. The film is titled Inches, and not only does it include songs by HRH Miss Summer, it's also got (take note, Graham!) Al freakin' Parker, his then-partner Steve Taylor and big, bad Bob Blount--none of whom are with us any longer. How sad is that??!
Can someone gimme titles to some gay 70s porn that you know for sure has the unknown obscure disco stuff? Not talkin the use of Donna Summer, Easy Going, etc. Im talkin the unknown probably just made for the films. Cause literaly I will seek out these movies and extract samples of the music and do one huge medley/remix! This is what I wanna set out to do (possibly colaberating once again with Mr. K-Bee as done on the last porn/disco mix made 8) )

the first time I heard the B side medley from Get on THe Funk Train by Munich Machine was ona porn film and I just thought it was some cheap cover for the film. If I ever hear the track, that is all I can think of now.

Does anyone know the title of this Jacques Morali produced gay porn movie?Originally Written by sfbeary
I think Falcon & Catalina produced many of these flicks. There were also some defunked companies that either went out of business or merged with other companies.Originally Written by Discovery
I love Jacques Morali product. Maybe he put Dennis Parker in an acting role.
In fact there's a lot of seventies movies that have great soundtracks. There's a lot of B-pictures that contain disco-excerpts and correct me if I'm wrong but I think Peter Brown made many of them. Maybe it's a hint to recordcompanys to get that music on cd. They did it for the Bondmovies where I found the music from "The Spy who loved me" which has some excellent discostuff between the scenes. Maybe the fact that those tracks were featured on adult movies keeps them from bringing it out. I don't know why because a lot of psychedelic tunes from German porn movies in the late sixties are available on the official market. And don't forget the french erotic series of "Brigade Mondaine" which featured complete soundtracks by Cerrone.
