I just love the music from this artist. I really didn't notice him till I heard his duet with Mellisa Morgan, Love Changes. A dj buddy at the time made a tape for me with various songs. On it was Ooh Love. I liked it right from the start. It remains my favorite from him even given the fact he has compiled many great songs in his career.
Find them and destroy them!
Gold Record [Level 7]
Kashif was probably better at producing other people than doing stuff by his own...he was not the greatest of vocalists if you ask me. Nevertheless, his 1983 Arista "Kashif" set was great stuff. "Stone Love", "Rumours", "I Just Gotta Have You (Lover Turn Me On)"...I love every track on that album.
Also the midtempo "Condition Of The Heart" from '85 wasn't half bad either.

The afore-mentioned 'I Just Gotta Have You (Lover Turn Me On)' & his version of Passion's 'Dont Stop My Love' are my favourites from the very talented Kashif.
