As for the disco ball hat, Chris (one of the producers of the party and a long time friend from our Aloha Records days) has had that hat for awhile. The party was his perfect opportunity to drag it out. That hat was heavy!

One thing I noticed is that most of the people there seem like your average Wilford Brimley types rather than the gym bunny, steroid crowd you see in most circuit party photos.

Part of the reason the party was so much fun was that the "Circuit Boys" were in the minority. They have their own clubs. This producers wanted the "older" generation to feel comfortable at an event of their own! What's even nicer is we had a wide range of people - and almost everyone seemed to be having a terrific time!!!

I really wish I could've gone. Not only would the music have been great, but it really looks like it was my kind of crowd!
