Best From Artist 89 - Bob Marley

Perhaps I'm stretching it here (not exactly disco :D ) but having Jamaican roots I had to acknowledge this master musician.
Though I love Marley's music, I only had a handful of records from him. This is in part because I've heard so much of it over the years. Anyway I just added a couple of cd to my collection. These recordings have some of my favorites. From Exodus, Waiting In Vain, and One Love. From Uprising, Could You Be Loved, and Forever Loving Jah.
    Find them and destroy them!

Jammin' absolutely exploded onto the dance floors in the UK, when released and will always get my vote along with
Lively Up Yourself, I Shot The Sheriff, Get Up Stand Up, Concrete Jungle and probably quite a few more.

One of the most incredible experiences of my life was seeing him live in 1973. We had him play at the small club I worked in and I was the DJ for the night (as well as the person who booked him- £75 for Bob Marley & The Wailers- Wow!!). He was totally and absolutely hypnotic, mesmerising and completely far out. What an evening.

    'Trenchtown Rock' &
    'Lick Samba'

are probably my favourites from the Marley camp.
What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
