"They can fill Cathedrals" <- recognise this ly

Can you help me find out what this song is and who it is by? It is a disco song; sounds like late 70's; female vocal, which sounds quite camp and 'cabaret-style'. I have heard it on a Larry Heard house mix from 2002, as well as on a Dimitri From Paris mix.

The chorus goes "Where are they now?, They're in the dancehalls, They're in the Diners, They're in the Streets. Where are they now?, They're at the movies, They're in the bar-rooms...They could fill cathedrals"

I could potentially email a bit of it to you as an MP3 if you want, but I'm sure someone here must know what it is!

    Thanks,

    The Squire

It's also available on CD in its full-length version, on a Rhino "Disco Hits" collection, I think; I'd have to check my CD at home. But this CD is NOT part of Rhino's "The Disco Years" series and may be out of print.

It's also featured on 'Disco Forever' on BBE records. ( a triple CD that is just fantastic IMO.)

It's also on The best of D.C Larue - Hot Productions-HTCD 35-2, clocking in at 7.57 with my favourite DC La Rue track Let Them Dance (9.15) also featured.

The CD was well worth the $3.40 I paid for it.

    Dear Friends!
"Cathedrals" has been covered by MARGARET COWIE in
1978 and she should be female.
