    Hi Discodisk,

    First off, I love the title of your post. Nice move giving your neighbors a mention. I often wonder if my neighbors, who put up with a lot from me, especially on the weekends, ever actually enjoy any of my music? Sometimes I think I should type up a playlist and post it on the door so they can mark their likes and dislikes. ;

    Ok, ENUF about ME... what do YOU think about me?

    No, back to the music.

    My fave on your list is the Atkins "Feel It, Don't Fight It" that I noted made it's debut on the Billboard Disco chart this week in May, 1982. Some guy at Aloha had the owners special order this for him and that's how it caught my eye. I don't recall hearing it in a club. But it is a bouncy little ditty that only went to #79 0n the r&b chart in the U.S. and was their only charting song. Pity, cause it had Top 10, potential, IMHO.

    Ok, back to ME....

    To give you an idea of what my neighbors put up with, as I've been typing this the cd player has moved from Maria Callas (opera, baby) to Club 69's insane mix of Ultra Nate ("Found A Cure)!!! And it's only noon on a Saturday!!!

    cheers markydefad,firstly dont spend too much time wondering if your neighbours actually like your music the secret is if you play it loud enough & often enough they are bound to get to like it in the end,thats my way of thinking!!!!! glad you like atkins it was released in this country as well & did even worse,ive never even seen one but as we all know good music dosnt depend on sales if thats the way it was we would all have thousands of records missing from our lives! LOVE&PEACE TO YOUR NEIGHBOURS!.. DISCODISK

    hi mixmachine,thanks for info im surprised album cut is a bit longer as the single runs at 6.39 must check that out,i saw one recently it was quite pricey though. do check out the moments theres no comparison with girls its much more uptempo its about a guy whos having a bad day at work and decides to give his girl a call and the lines busy all day so hes pleading with the operator to cut into the conversation,course she must be having a bad day as well as shes having none of it!comes complete with telephone rings and all, a stang 7" should be easy to find for the longer version check the sharp album. another similar record with telephone rings & pleading with the operator is marie green "sorry that numbers been disconected! on buddah from around the same time if you know that. wow im getting an urge to dig that out!........DISCODISK
