What's your ' Everything's gonna be alright' song?

Mines's 'Just a Daydream' - Aretha from Jump To it album.

There are soooooo many, but here's a few.

William DeVaughn - Be Thankful For What You Got (whenever I feel down, this puts things back into perpective)
Players Association - Disco Inferno (for the sheer jazzy exuberance of the track, especially the trumpet solo and horn stabs)
Vicki Sue Robinson - Turn The Beat Around (for the sheer vivacity in her singing)
Rose Royce - R R Express (for the drumming and the overall joyful atmosphere on this track. If there was ever a happier session, I'd like to know)
MSO - Columbia (this just makes me wanna tear the place up. I only ever get to play it late at night when everyone is already in bed, so I have to wear headphones, but boy, do I get animated)

William DeVaughn was typical of much of my playlist, tempo wise.

So tell me, how is this a sleaze song? I agree with Quinny, this is one of my favourites too.

(BTW It's just been covered by Omar and Angie Stone, anyone heard it?)

The Blaze remix is worth getting... it's a nice version, except I think the sax in the mix should've been left out.... it starts to sound like Kenny G after a while :o

In reguards to the William Devaughn track, I never thought of it as "sleeze" but its defenatly morning music. Theres 2 versions, the early 70s one then the 1980 re-recording which was the club play one of corse.

First that comes to mind is "Things can only get better" by Howard Jones. I always end screaming "woh-woh-wo-ho-ho-hoh!" all around the house.

For me, it'll have to be Gene Chandler's 'Nothing Can Stop Me'. There are many others, but this one really can open the flood gates.

Ironically after having selected Aint No Stopping Us Now yesterday, I heard John Whitehead was shot and killed in his garage last evening :(
Yesterday was just not a good news day!
