Ok, now this time I'll give credit where credit is due. Don't wanna step on any toes. Jimmy M told Ron who told Keefe that the hyperactivemedia.com/5am site has a new downloadable mix of Bobby V in action from 1983 titled "Hot To Troc". I went to the site last evening at home and attempted a d/l. It said it was gonna take 4+ hours (without a DSL line). So today, at work (with a DSL line) I made another attempt and I got it in about 16 minutes or so.

The music is very much New Wave Dance/Rock and I was able to ID everything except one song that I know, but can't put a title to as of yet.

Here's what I heard:

Starts with a "live" appearance by Margaret Reynolds singing "Keep On Holding On" then slides into the following:

2) "SEX (I'M A...)" - Berlin (origin of the Goddess's by-line)
3) "YOUNG MEN DRIVE FAST" - The Quick
4) "TELEPHONE OPERATOR" - Pete Shelley
5) "MAGNIFIQUE" - Magnifique
6) "GET THE BALANCE RIGHT" - Depeche Mode
7) "THE END" - Change
"CAN WE TRY AGAIN" - Technique
9) "KEEP ON MAKING ME HIGH" - Unyque
(there's a little greeting from The Divine Miss M inserted in there: "How ya doin' girls? Long time--no see"
10)"ANGEL MAN" - Rhetta Hughes
11) (mystery song--instrumental with a hot piano - I can't place the title) Help!!!
12)long remix of "FOLLOW ME" instrumental mixed with "OPEN YOUR HEART" by Human League that finally gets to the Amanda Lear vocal
13)"NOWHERE GIRL" - B-Movie
14)"THAT'S GOOD" - Devo
15)"COMMUNICATION" - Spandau Ballet

Check it out!!! Feedback appreciated. (Keefe & I are Miss V's unpaid publicists)
