Goldmember
Has anyone here watched the last Austin Powers flick "Goldmember" from 2002? I watched for the first time today and didn't feel confortable with the way they portrayed disco and the 70s...it was 1975 in a disco in NYC called Studio 69 (54 opened in 77 not 75), lots of roller booging, Beyonce doing a KC medley...and at the end Travolta was Goldmember and he did his SNF act. Why do people still think the 70s and disco were only that!! I didn't live in 75 and I think I have a more complex idea of the 70s thanks to what I read in this forum and learn from others. Thanks for enlightening me :)
Voyage :P
P.S. Gwyneth Paltrow looks hot in the movie lol

Actually Voyage I bought the movie just for that segment... go figure :-? .... In most cases especially where I was from.. it was potheads/long hair .... or disco w/rollerskating... it was culture.
