Was wondering if someone could help me with a problem using this software?

I am trying to take a looped drum beat and apply it to an existing song to create my own remix. I can't get it to play in sync with the song. I've tried the beatmapper, etc. and nothing seems to work.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Unfortunately, the beatmapper in Acid pro is crap! :cry:
You're much better off trying to fit things manually by simple using your ears and some timestrecthing. When it sounds right - it is right!
The secret is often to stretch or shorten the actual song instead of the drumbeats, since acid pro wont let you use the timestreching on anything looped at all (u have to change it to either beatmapped or one-shot, but that sorta kills the idea :lol: )

so....leave the loop where it is and change the actual tempo of the track where your original song is placed.
That works for me 9 times outta 10!

I've tried everything and still can't get the loop to sync with the song. The beats are mismatched.

I'm doing something wrong, but not sure what it is.

Can I ask what song you're trying to remix nrg?
Often, it's a real bitch trying to fit old fashion real drumming together with electronically created drumloops. I've been having that problem quite a few times myself. Wonder it that could be the source of your problem as well?
