Marteen, where can we get a copy of this album, ive looked around but can not find it. The track with LOVE EXCHANGE is the title GOT TO FIND A DISCO (1978) ? let me thanx....RU
This is a new double CD compilation by Joe Claussell, which (as I posted elsewhere on the board) contains the 4m32s disco version of "Sunny" by Yambu. This was the main reason for me to listen to it and buy it.
It is a release by Urban Theory/BBE Music (www.beechwoodmusic.co.uk), the folks responsible for the recent Masters At Work compilation of West End Records and a whole bunch of other good stuff.
The two CD's contain a wide variety of disco (Pamm Todd & The Love Exchange, EW&F, Yambu, Imagination), dance (Robin Beck, Herbie Hancock, Monday Michiru, Sounds Of Blackness), and world music (Luis Gasca, King Sunny Ade). The list is too long.
If you enjoyed Francois K's "Choice", or David Mancuso's "Loft Vol. 1" and "Vol. 2" compilations, you are going to like this one, too.
Excellent work, Joe.

RUoffended - The Pam Todd & Love Exchange track is "Let's get together".
I bought my copy of this CD at Spiral Records in Omotesando district here in Tokyo, but that doesn't help you very much...
It is strange, but the only place that seems to sell this CD online is:

I hope Bernie doesn't mind because this is not one of the sponsors.
