Best From Artist 85 - Graham Central Station

Time for some ole old school y'all
Yah, it was around the time I was grooving to Sugar Pie Guy and watching Soul Train. My pick Release Yourself, was out for a little while then I saw and heard the song performed on Soul Train when they had the Soul Train line. I was hook on that song since. These early grooves punctuated that change away from the 60ish rhythms of the early 70s. This makes sense when one considers that this group came out of an upcoming "Best From Artist." Shut up Marky, efunk, and Nicky to name a few

Sounds mighty good to me!! I have that on a Westbound Disco Sizzlers musicassette compilation. Love it!

BTW - where were you clubbing then, Discodisk - up North?

Another one from this era that always makes me feel good and brings back the memories:
What about Billy Ocean - Love Really Hurts Without You. With its Northern Soul beat and its super catchy chorus. It still does it for me!!

    :)
