Music Machine movie soundtrack

:evil: I got this soundtrack last year, do any of the English members know anything about this 1979 English movie? And is it available on DVD? Patti Boulaye sings on three of the tracks. :evil:

If you need to check out British approximations of the 70's disco scene there's a double feature dvd of The Stud & The Bitch, with awful dance displays and great fashions. The Music Machine, a flat, extremely un-exciting and cheap tv style rip-off of SNF, got realesed on vhs during the 80's when just about any old thing was dumped into video stores. Still, if it ever would get a "special edition" dvd realese, complete with a booklet and a disc full of enthralling extras or not, we could not resist it could we?

Considering the Munich talent involved it is odd that there's only one good track on the album, the title theme. Again, this melodic, very catchy almost costandinosque tune is way too short. As for the rest it's substandard filler, totally forgettable and as such perfect for the whole sorry film.
The Italian SNF ripoffs were far more interesting and often contained more listenable and danceable soundtracks, "American Fever" was a standout. Even porn personality Ilona Staller aka La Cicciolina starred in one non-porn italodisco movie called "John Travolto quel insolito destino" in 1979, doing the hustle better than her original role model Ms Gorney.

I actualy picked up a nice done bootlegg VHS tape of it since its not on all region DVD in the US. The bootlegg was fairly cheep. Both films are soft porn with awsome soundtracks :D I had a thread a while ago about it when I had first picked up the boot.
