DISCO MUSIC LIVE FOREVER
An instrumental that was not yet mentioned in the other thread is Maynard Ferguson's "Hollywood" from 1980 which I think is real good. Was often used as tune too.
 The Aragorn Ballroom Orchestra did Theme from The Lord of the Rings 12" 1978 5.39 mins Fantasy Records Berkeley California. I think its a novelty record or maybe they were serious.

I may have mentioned this in the other thread but I couldn't bother myself looking through it again.
Anyway Van McCoy's "Two Point's" from 1979 is unmissable!! (and as cheesey as the theme from Dallas too :D  )
An instrumental disco LP from '78 that I recently discovered on a record shopping trip is a VERY cheesy (but I love it!) thing by L.E.B.Harmony called 'Disco Boogie' (it's even on pink vinyl! :o ) on Canadian Carrousel (sic) Records. Check out 'Feeling Love' (track 2, side 1)- its quite trancey in places & very Giorgio Moroder/ Bobby O/ Universal Energy/ Harry Thumann in style.(if u get my drift!)
...ya gotta beat the street......
Is this the same "Feelin' Love" by Hott City on Butterfly Records? Your description matches, except of course for the vocals in the Hott City version.Originally Written by Steely Dan
CAMEO "The Sound Table"
