Yeah, that guy sniped you, very hard to get those records for just $10.00, I never heard any of those Cerrone Soundtracks(Vicesquad was sold too lately)are they Disco?, I'm trying to get the original French covers but "love in C minor" sold for 19.50 plus shipping, just a bit to much to pay for the cover only.

From what i know they are disco(by the way, i think im the one who got Vice Squad lol). I know one track ive been looking for is from and made for Vice Squad(striptease). "Love In C Minor" I have the import record but it was shoved in the US cover(got it for 2 bucks out here in Az). I want to get the french covers as well. 'Cerrones Paradise" would be more than just the cover..from what ive been told, "Time For Love" is about 2 min. longer. Yes, its a ballad but a disco ballad.

the only original cover I've got is the LP with the naked girl on the frigidare (?)I think is Paradise, the French seller that sold the original "love C minor" (which I first saw here on Bernie's Disco Vault)also offered three more original Cerrone covers I've never seen before, I didn't noticed this auctions until after the end. If you do a search for completed items maybe you can still see/download the images.

The lounging by the pool one is Cerrone 6 which is his new wave/rock LP from 1980. I am dying to get hold of this. I only have his 70's disco LPs. Plus the Bob Sinclar sampler record that just came out a little bit ago. The other one about a bed? Have no clue. Doesnt ring a bell.

Ok, the one with the girl in bed is the Vice Squad, the other one I never saw is called 'Back Track 8', it has two models rolling on the floor and Cerrone is watching.
Edit I just noticed, apparently the Vice Squad or "BRIGADE MONDAINE" was released with two different covers, the girl in bed and a dark skin model by the palm tree.

Still trying to get this lp as well. I Need evryting from Cerrone 6 - the new album that is comming out in a few months(dont know if it will be released over here or not). I have over 20yrs of Cerrone to own..lol

The French pressing of CERRONE: BRIGADE MONDAINE - VAUDOU AUX CARAIBES has a topless lady photographed on a beach. The music contains a very good Caribbean/African flavoured percussive chanting theme tune, some tracks with slow synth warblings plus a couple of re-edits of previously realesed material. The pretty instrumental SOUMISSION is snatched from the first Revelacion album House of the Rising Sun, and there's an excellent extended Africanism from the Kongas lp, useful for deejaying. Some of the tracks are mixed to form seques and there are are surprising changes in tempo and bits where the music stops for freezing effect. All and all, a very good and contemporary-sounding album.

"Brigade Mondaine" is the actress in the films. Not the lp titles. I will have vice squad here someday. Now hearing a discription of the LP i lost, im even more sad that ill not have this.

Doesn't BRIGADE MONDAINE mean Vice Squad in French...? Was there really some starlet with such an alluring name credited when those 3 policier films LA BM, BM - VAUDOU AUX CARAIBES and BM - SECTE DE MARRAKESH - appeared during the late 70's -?

This is what i found out by doing a search for info on these films. Unless they are all sequels? It looked as though that is the actress' name, however i may be wrong? I dont know

Well I don't speak French, But the French 'Brigade' is similar to the Spanish word 'Brigada' witch means 'Squad'in english, all I know is that different covers mention Cerrone and "Brigade Mondaine"

We are talking about BRIGADE MONDAINE, a violent exploitation film about gangsters kidnapping hookers, and it's 2 sequels.

It's available from Unidisc, but the sound quality isn't too good. Noisy and distorted, it sounds like it came off a cassette dub of the LP.

Note that this album is *very* different from just about everything else he's done. I quite like it, but it's generally regarded as his weakest release. There's very little in the way of anything danceable. A couple of the tracks are rock, some are Alan-Parsons-Project-esque instrumentals, another one is basically a 5-minute drum solo, another sounds like a demo from a cheap Casio keyboard.

Regardless of how unfocused and downright bizarre it gets, the album redeems itself just on the seductive and steamy "Rendez-Vous" track alone. I'm hoping to find this on vinyl; I know I can make it sound better than Unidisc did.

Well, forget unidisc man, its avalible on import CD from france. Newley remastered and just released a few months ago(just found it out). They are re releasing the whole Cerrone catolog in celebration of his new lp comming out sometime this summer. I dont have a CC so, i cant order these(sucks). As for the Bob Sinclar album, i have a "Cerrone Sampler vol 2" vinyl. Its songs selected by Bob Sinclar. I am still trying to get the actual mixed cd by him "Cerrone By Bob Sinclar". Heres a track listing of my vinyl sampler.

Supernature (Live From The Papagayo) note:a fake live version, just a new house re recording, its cool

Music Of Life (original version edited)
You Are The One (original full version)
Rocket In The Pocket (original pitched up and intro cut off)
Supernature (Danny Tenaglia Club Mix Edit) note: a slightly shortened version of the 1996 club hit
Standing In The Rain - Don Ray(sinclar edit)
Living On Love (sinclar reedit-taken out of the mixed cd)
Striptease (sinclar mix-again, snipped from the mixed cd)
Revelacion (snipped from the mixed cd, just an excerpt of "House Of The Rising Sun")

well, depending if u r a dj or not, depends if this is worth getting. I payed 16 bucks for it at a store here in Tempe Az that deals in the latest dance stuff on vinyl and other DJ equipment. This record is an import from Europe. If u want it for a Cerrone compilation, DO NOT BUY. If your looking for a Cerrone mix, DO NOT BUY, its not a mix. If u r looking for a few original versions of Cerrone tracks on vinyl or looking for some of the updated versions on vinyl to mix with, its great money spent(which is why i got it..lol)
