The leader and producer of the eighties R&B group "Starpoint" Ernesto Phillips, 50, passed on March 25, at Johns Hopkins University Hospital after a stroke. Phillips performed with his three brothers and lead singer Renee Diggs as Starpoint, which recorded such classics as "Object of My Desire", "He Wants My Body" and "Restless." Ernesto also discovered and produced Toni Braxton and Kimberly Scott.
