Phillip, I don't think i've ever seen a commercial 12" for this song. A promo copy however is possible. It never charted on the US DANCE CHARTS.. to further complicate the search... :-?

Talking of the Buggles, I bought 'Age Of Plastic' on CD last week & the liner notes reckon that 'Video Killed The Radio Star' was the longest running no.1 in the history of the Italian charts in 1980 (23 weeks!!!). Just a little bit of trivia for u guyz!

BTW, does anybody know what their 2nd LP 'Adventures in Modern Recording' was like?

It's one of those re-mastered CDs that's recently become available in the UK but I don't know about other territories. The 2nd LP flopped & is hard to find; this looks like a job for GEMM! It must be good 'cos everything Trevor Horn produces is OK by me.

I still would have kept it as the 12 inch pressing most likely had better sound than the LP.

I also have enjoyed Trevor's works over the years like Yes, ABC and even his Disco roots with Tina Charles / 5000 Volts.

Wasnt Biddu the one behind Tina Charles? Or was this later stuff? I knew of Yes but never knew he had disco roots. Although, I belive he was the one to do that awsome eurodisco type 12'' remix of Yes' "Leave It" which I loved from the day it came out :D

I had no problem finding "Adventures" on vinyl... mind you, I played it and can't remember a single moment of it, which appears to be the same reaction that most people had.
