Phillip, I don't think i've ever seen a commercial 12" for this song. A promo copy however is possible. It never charted on the US DANCE CHARTS.. to further complicate the search... :-?Originally Written by dj phillip esparza
i have been looking for this 12" since 1981.only to have run into their other singles and the 7" 45 single.thought that i'd might ask.

The word evokes not just a type of music or a kind of dance or even a style of dress.It\'s also a new social order of black and white, gay and straight, rich and poor, all hot, sweaty and, most likely, high, together.

The promo 12'' was nothing but the LP version on a 12'' single unfortunatly. They shoulda done a disco remix of it..coulda went great I think

Talking of the Buggles, I bought 'Age Of Plastic' on CD last week & the liner notes reckon that 'Video Killed The Radio Star' was the longest running no.1 in the history of the Italian charts in 1980 (23 weeks!!!). Just a little bit of trivia for u guyz!
BTW, does anybody know what their 2nd LP 'Adventures in Modern Recording' was like?
...ya gotta beat the street......
They had a 2nd LP???????? Didnt even know about this. I didnt even know "Age Of Plastic" was still avalible on CD. I got a CD of it back in the mid 80s which even then it was hard to find on disc.

It's one of those re-mastered CDs that's recently become available in the UK but I don't know about other territories. The 2nd LP flopped & is hard to find; this looks like a job for GEMM! It must be good 'cos everything Trevor Horn produces is OK by me.![]()

I still would have kept it as the 12 inch pressing most likely had better sound than the LP.Originally Written by DJ Jimmy M

Wasnt Biddu the one behind Tina Charles? Or was this later stuff? I knew of Yes but never knew he had disco roots. Although, I belive he was the one to do that awsome eurodisco type 12'' remix of Yes' "Leave It" which I loved from the day it came out :D
