It would be great if some of you could list some records you heard at the Troc back in the day. Maybe some of the hot tracks played there which stand out in your mind to this day.

Well you know, of course, that I'll be there. Mark and Jeff are schedule to come up also. Check out my latest post about the party (under Trocadero Transfer Reunion Party post in the section of the forum about parties & events) if you're flying out and you need hotel accommodations. There's a special discounted rate for people attending the party, which should help since SF isn't exactly the most inexpensive place to visit!

When I have time, :roll: --I will post the entire 1981 Trocadero Anniversary party playlist. It's very intersting to see the whole arc of the evening. Just need time to type it up. :x

Bobby Viteritti told me on-line that he was the DJ that evening--although none of his "custom mixes" were used. He said he was "moody" and didn't use any that evening. Now the absence of those "custom remixes" of his led my friends (Keefe) to doubt whether this was actually Bobby playing that evening. Judging by the song selection, I had always thought it was. It's toooooooo him.

The dance music starts with "That's Where The Happy People Go" by The Trammps and ends with "The Music of Life" by Cerrone. Perfection. :D

I have a Troc song list (over 350 entries), but I need to wait until after the Remember Party before I reveal any of those tunes.

Right now, I just want to know what tapes and/or CDs Bobby is suppose to be bringing with him to sell when he visits SF for the party!! I understand he's made contact with Medium Rare Records to sell some items for him. Hmmmm...

Well, the countdown has begun, and I'm very excited to be returning to San Francisco for this special event! I wanted to give you a heads up that a shipment of my retro music CDs will be available soon at Medium Rare Records/San Francisco. Additionally, some special Saint party CDs will be for sale at the "Remember - the party" event, profits of which will be donated to SF's Under One Roof... so bring your wallets!
