'You're The One For Me', natch...
'Trying To Get Over' (Instrumental)
'Keep On' (12" version)
'D. Train Dub'
'Music'
The first time I heard these guys, I was just starting to be a regular my new early 80's club, Satch's. This place catered to a more snobbish crowd but the times were a changin'. You're The One For Me while definitely newer in style, conveyed that positive uplifting energy of traditional Disco. It is my pick from these artists.
Find them and destroy them!

What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
Old territory, but for me the Paul Hardcastle remix of '84 was the one that made You're The One for Me really work. The instrumental side was the side I played when first released and althoug it went down well and was a reasonable hit, it never gave me that goose pimply, hair standing up 'feeling' that so many other big toons did.
Other than that I liked 'Keep On' and 'Music' , Music especially for its life affirming, positiveness. In fact, I liked music a hell of a lot more than YTOFM.
With such a voice and such production I thought D Train had a long, long successful career ahead of it. Alas, it was not to be.
From "You're The One For Me" and all the way up to 1988's "In Your Eyes" and even the stuff he did with Bob Sinclar - - - - I love this guy's music - always have always will!!
I just can't Choose!!! :D
You're The One For Me
Keep On
Can't go wrong with any D Train track as far as I'm concerned, but my favourites are:
"You're The One For Me"
"Walk On By"
"Keep On"
"Keep Giving Me Love"
"You Are Everything"
Not to mention the outstanding ballads "Lucky Day," "Oh How I Love You," "Miracle Of The Heart," "My Friend" and "You're The Reason."
