Yup - the dude singing on Jolie's "Come To Me" right??![]()
LOL a voice like that can easily kill off any song! Sadly he transforms "Come To Me" into a track that's only fairly decent in my book. Without him singing on it, it would have been awesome!
What ya think? Tony Green sing or does he need to be thrown to the production booth and stay there. I think he needed to stay off the France Joli records..what you all think?

Tony Green's voice is still nowhere near as bad as some of the other acts he produced and wrote for. If you've ever heard Carloline Bernier's "Secret Agent Love", you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
You are right about Bernier's pretty bad singing, but that song has grown on me over the years. Go figure.

I think all of you are being pretty hard on Tony here. I would suggest trying to get your hands on "I Am A Fool", Tony's solo disco 12" on RCA Canada. He does a great job on it. With respect to him 'ruining' "Come To Me', give me a break..

And anyway, disco is one genre where not having a traditionally good let alone a great singing voice can be an asset. Madleen Kane - a whimpering model, yet wonderful. Grace Jones - never made the Metropolitan, yet we all loved her deliveries. Carolyne Bernier was a borderline case - surely Green could have used someone either more talented or someone even more cheesy sounding to camp it up properly. Still, Carolyne is good stuff, especially Secret Agent Love - watch the Roman Coppola film "CQ", all about secret agent loves. If only Caroline looked like the Linnewall girl or whatever her name is.
LOL LOL..I totaly forgot about this post...dont know how long ago I made this thread. It was kind of a joke with me and K-Bee from what I recall..which caused the post  But..Tony Green produced some great stuff.
