'80s UK Radio Show.

I recently found an old tape I made years ago, which hasn't stood the test of time too well. I was still able to have a quick listen to it though, and it reminded me of a Saturday Night - Sunday Morning radio show which would run down the "...top 20 dance tunes..." as the DJ said. I think it was on the defunct Radio London station, but I'm not too sure :roll: . Do any UK experts out there know what I'm on about? The DJ also said the time was "...just 20 minutes before midnight.", and judging by some of the choonz he played, "Summer Groove" by The Joneses for one, the year was about 1981.

Any ideas who the DJ was, or what station he was on?

Sorry buckaroo can't help u there being a northerner (ecky thump lad!) but I do remember that Joneses track; was that the same group who did 'Sugar Pie Guy' in '73.

Yup! I think those two singles were their only hits.
