Can't beat that, but B.B.C.S. & A.'s wonderful 'Rock Shock' (Sam, 1982) features what sounds like an accordion in places!
I've found some dance tunes with the sound of harmonica:
Chantal Curtis "Get Another Love" ('79)
Idris Muhammad "Boogie To The Top" ('78)
Trammps "Soul Bones" ('79)
Brass Construction "Do Ya" ('80)
Bernard Wright "Haboglabotribin' " ('81)
Did I see everything ??? :D

What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
Lets not forget the classics................
Garys Gang "Harmonica on the Dancefloor (makes me freek - 7 days a week)"
Alton McClain "You are my Harmonica"
D Train "Without You, there would be no harmonica (or mouth organ)"
Universal Robot Band "You make me sick (when you do what you do with that harmonica)"
Rick Dees "Leave me alone you harmonica playing idiot"
All first class harmonica disco
Leather is the way forward!
Getting back to the subject.
Anyone ever heard of WAR?
Yes, it's something that happens with unfortunate regularity on these posts! Sorry, yes I think they are an excellent group, personal favourites being 'Lowrider' & 'You Got The Power'.
...ya gotta beat the street......
War's lee Oskar atually used to have a harmonica shop over here back in the day (or so I am told). I never really cared much for the band though - apart from the "youngblood" soundtrack they were just too rock for me :(
BTW how can we have a harmonica thread without mentioning Stevie??!!
What about Rufus Harley's jazz bagpipes on Malika?!Originally Written by Forrrce

I guess that Joel Diamond Experience album really was quite forgettable. :)
What sounds like harmonica starts at 4.53 on this boogie classic:
Not disco but always loved this track:
& what about the snatches of Stevie on:

I was listening to a Lenny Williams CD the other day & a fab track featured a harmonica but I was too busy to come on here & I can't remember which track it was....how annoying.![]()
...ya gotta beat the street......
The Lenny Williams track featuring harmonica is 'Doing The Loop De Loop' from 1979 - just remembered it but can't find it on youtube.

At the 2:20 mark! A favourite from 1984 and man, it packed my floors back then! Nice to see what Steve Allen actually looked like....never pictured him as a handsome, young-ish man....but oh dear....those pants....

Interesting one . Do you recall what you mixed with it ?? EYES WITHOUT A FACE by any chance???
That short little harp inclusion made me think of this :

No....I never thought of something that clever to mix with it. I've got a mixed tape with Billy Ocean's Carribbean Queen right after it....same bpm. I'm pretty sure Matthew Wilder's Break My Stride would have been in there as well. Allen's Letter From My Heart was one of those starter songs that got everyone on the floor for the night.
