Hiya MAN
To my knowledge, I-Level released three albums. They comprised of group members, Jo Dworniak, Sam Jones, and Duncan Bridgeman. In 1985 they had a minor hit with the song 'In The Sand'. They emerged in the UK, after a vibrant and lively music genre called Brit-funk had just ended. The Brit-funk scene was made up of many UK bands who performed their own compositions of an American created sound. The most famous exponents of Brit-funk being; Level 42, Incognito, Central Line, and the most prolific of all, Light Of The World. Some of these groups still release albums at present.
I-Level's other hits include 'Minefield', and 'In The River'.
'Give Me' is a supremely funky 12" which I am lucky enough to own. If you want any more details about them, I'll have a trawl through some of my Blues & Soul back issues.
