There is a female version of Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You that was made on a tape for me at the Copa Disco in Houston years ago.But its NOT Boystown Gang! Although a dance mix or version the singer is more sultry The song starts I can't I can't ,can't take my eyes off of you.Then there in the song there is a sound Your Just to Good to be true(tic tock)Can't take my eyes off of you(tick tock tick tock you'd be like heaven to touch (tic tock) oh I want to hold you so much and so on does anyone have a clue who this might have been?

I spun at the Copa in the mid-80's and we played the Boystown Gang version. I have no clue what they may have been playing later on. Jeanie Tracy has done a version but that was only a few years ago as has Jimmy Sommerville. Can't think of anyone else. <shrug>

The version you heard is the Italo-Disco version by Ross, released in '86 on BMS Records 12"(bms 313), nice sultry vocals to a hi-energy beat (126bpm) and that distintive italo electro sound, I used to play this a lot back in the day......
