Dotty Green - I caught you out

Can anyone tell me more about this song? I have it on a compilation vinyl album ("Dance to the music" - Arcade 1986).

It sounds very much like a Gary's Gang/Eric Matthew production, but all that is listed are the writer credits - William Alexander Smith.

I could be way off point here, but I think William Alexander Smith was TC Curtis, the chameleon-like UK producer. He was behind a Dotty Green single (possibly on his Hot Melt label) and I think she had something out that was produced by Paul Hardcastle, also. I can remember what she looked like - she had a round face and a mane of black, frizzy hair. :-?

She did "Love Situation" with Mark Fisher (ex Second Image) in 1985. I've looked thru my B&S back issues...and she did have a frizzy perm.
