Funny you ask, i was going to ask you that same question , i really dunno im looking for that too , i like the way the violins are played on that track....if ever you find let me know thanx RU

there is a 12" of I Need You. It is 7:43 and very percussive. I love the intro to the album version and the female adlibs towards the end and neither part is really in the 12" althoug it is still worth hearing.
I got it from Audiogalaxy (never knew it existed until recently) but it is referred to as being on a CD called "The Collection"

This sounded familiar so I checked my CD's and I do have a 7:45 remix of "I Need You" on Megatone which is "percussive" as totoman said. It also sounds as though the violins, which I love, are a bit muted compared to the 4:40 album version on Fantasy. The remix also has some nice piano work in the break.
