I'm gona pick this up this AM!
My wife and I saw EWF in concert last summer at Mohegan Sun and they still put on one hell of a show.
They may be together for 30 years but their sound is as fresh and dynamic today as when they first started. :D
Just wanted to post here (if im in the wrong forum please move it to the proper), I just got hold of the new EWF LP "The Promise" which was just released before the new year and i'll say..it's damn great! Good modern R&B/Jazz combo with the classic EWF sound still there. I will admit that Phillip Bailey's voice has got a bit weak but he can still do the vocals well on this LP. Its mainly ballads for the most part with a few uptempo tracks, including the last track called "Dirty" which is a shockingly pure hard classic disco track begging for an extended remix. It's good to see that good music can still be made this day in age..even if it is from a group over 30 years old :D
