Something that she released a little while back with the Source, "You Got The Love". She must be ecstatic to get the exposure although I wonder how many people will bother to look for the tune?

I have to give credit to you guys. I discovered Miss Staton's oeuvre thanks to this forum. Now her House of Love LP is always near my turntable.
Recently I downloaded some Bobby Womack songs and found a duet with Candi: "Stop before we start". Was I dissapointed! Not only the song was below-par, she never gets to sing lead! And this from a guy who later made duets with Patti Labelle and the like! Bobby had the chance and wasted it.

Warner Music released a Candi Staton compilation, "The Best Of Candi Staton" on CD awhile back. You might enjoy this disc if you liked "House of Love." I believe the compilation is still in print!
