    Oooh, Steely D,

Yeah, Mr. Gibson has truly "jumped the shark" as they say. I'm embarrassed to say at one time I ever thought he was terrific. Sooooo saaaaaaad. I think he needs a good whippin' by The Lord or a month-long S&M scene in some dungeon (is the Hoist available?) --to release those inner demons. Who knew he was sooooo far gone?

    Guys ---

Just because I've allowed so-and-so to get under my skin and act like an ******* doesn't mean you should follow me. And, no, I'm not calling any of you assholes, just saying don't go down this road with me. It's bad enough I've let Bernie down by raving on the board publicly. Don't all of you start doing the same. Remember, some time ago a lot of us made a promise to "chill".

If you can, just let this Walk On By :) and I'll take my medicine in due course. I know all of this has added some 'fire' to the board but it's really not the kind of heat we want.

    Thanks,
    Nicky

PS: And give herbz back his thread. I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

Marky, I'll dust my sling ready to torture Mr Gibson any day!
(as long as I dont have to talk to him!)

Quinny, I'd rather tango than argue any day but you remind me of those kids at school who pick on others but are the first to cry when someone fights back.

Ermmm Steely: Bullies always gang up against one person. I AM THAT ONE PERSON. You (and the rest) are the gang. Touche mon ami. Think again.

I didn't say anything about bullies luv, that's u reading into things what u want to. U are very skilled at turning things around to the way u want & I'm not good at that so I'm definitely shutting up now but i s'pose you'll keep on 'cos u luv to have the last word & u luv the argy bargy of it all don't u? Have fun 'cos I know u will; the rest of us have fun listening to music.

Are you guys really affended by Quinny's arguments of when SOUL MAKOSSA was really played? I think he has a valid question. Maybe his flavor had touched a nerve with some of you. Big Deal! GET OVER IT.

I don't always agree with what Quinny writes... but, I'm not gonna take sides in this either. :-?

I like several others are waiting for more details on this book. Sorry for the interuption Herb.

    Whatever you goddam want, baby?

Without wanting to form a 'sympathy for the devil' society for Quinny, I do find him a rather humourous neccessary evil!

Agree with efunk in some respects. No doubt, this site would be a duller place if not for the likes of his miscreant music melodramas! :P

He loves a challenge and we are all susceptible to his verbatim. Now then.... was Francis Grasso the first to play Michael Olatinji's "Drums of Passion (Jin-Go-La-Bah)" in 1968 or was it first picked up & played by the infamous bhantu tribe of Kenya??

This thread has taken on many dimensions... so whoever comes next.... give it ya best shot!!!:D

So I'm a villain now?

All I want to do is post in peace, but no matter what I write or how I write it, somebody takes offence.

Then the sharks swim around smelling blood in the water.

Then I'm thrown overboard and the feeding frenzy begins.

But I escape, to be mauled over another day.

This is getting tiresome. :x

You know what, this whole thread has gotten tiresome because it's so far off the mark we're no longer getting any useful information.

Herbz, you're welcome to try again but I promise, it will remain on track.

One last point: To efunk: No one here is offended by Quinny's argument on when Soul Makossa was played. You are waaay off the point. Therefore, please don't tell anyone to "GET OVER IT" when you don't seem to know what 'IT' is. What some of you find entertaining and amusing is to others annoying and even offensive. Therefore, WHAT WE ALL ARE GOING TO TRY TO DO is not post personally about it on the board.

    Thread and conversation FINI!
