    Robbie:

You have some classic stuff listed here, not to mention some personal favorites. 'Dreaming a dream' by one of my favorite bands 'The Crown Heights Affair' is great whether it is the vocal or disco version. 'Peanut Vendor/Frenesi' by 'The Ritchie Family' brings back many memories as this was one of the first LP's I bought as a 13 year old kid in '75. I used to burn that whole side along with 'Brazil'. Finally, I always enjoyed 'Lady Bump' by 'Penny McLean' and also 'The Silver Convention'. I guess it's because my very first LP ever was 'Save me' by 'The Silver Convention'. Thanks for the memories and be sure to check out my Friday night happy hour lists in this forum. I believe 'Dreaming a dream' was listed in my first week.

    Easy,

    Dear Robbie!
These tracks are really Disco-Basics and
should not be missed in a DisCollection!
    I remember that I was a great Silver-Conven-
tion and Penny McLean-Fan (I was about 10
years old) and I´m still playing your men-
    tioned tracks.

They following aren't disco, but I've been listening to the first time on CD release of Dionne Warwick's "Track Of The Cat" album, as well as the new Patti Austin, "For Ella". "Track of the Cat" is my favorite Warwick album, released on Warner Bros. in 1975. Dionne produced by Thom Bell with songs written by Thom and Linda Creed. Can you ask for anything more?

Patti's CD is a Japanese import of the upcoming U.S. release (due May 21st). I couldn't wait and CD Now was having an import sale! The album is a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.
