The only Peter Griffith record I have is "Step Bu Step" b/w "Devil's Reception" from 1982 on Moby Dick Records. It was produced by Chris Byxton and Peter Vaylon.

«Spiderman» got some airplay in 1979. I think PG was produced in Germany.

Yes... I believe the Moby Dick Records, extended edit 12" was his only US release.

I have it, along with his (wonderful) follow-up: "Inside Out", on Electrola Records, from Germany. But those are all I know of, from him.

    !!!!!

This means that he must have been around 38 when this picture was taken:

He looks rather young on this one.

Could it be that the photo was shot at an earlier time of his life or he simply looked younger that he was in reality?

    Re: PETER GRIFFIN

"Inside Out" was an enormous record in 81 at the club I frequented. It was first a German import, then released in Canada on Rio, the label that later did the Canadian pressing of "Step by Step." "Inside out, over and over again..." The track is in my head now, must go flip the 12" on my turntable.

I love this site! It's led me so often to re-discover old tracks that I haven't thought about in decades.

I was one of the people who led the charge for this to be released on Rio. An absolute blockbuster here at my old club, Le Tube.

I have a copy of one of the albums but have never played it...found it way after the fact.

Thanks for the info on Peter, Steffen...always nice to hear from those who know the background on those Europeans that were only 'imports' to us...

For a second there, I thought this was going to be a thread about 'Family Guy'. He kind of looks like Michael J Fox in that picture sleeve.

Doesn't seem that any of his work was released in cd format? Or am I wrong and it's just rare?
