Best From Artist 76 - Norman Connors

Ahhh. That's what I feel whenever I play music from this artist. His "best of" album I picked 25 years ago is one of the best albums I have. Anyway my two favorites and best from are Valentine Love and Once I've Been There.

"Phoenix" is still a great disco track, but I'm actually more into the slow grooves and even some of the more recent stuff he's done as well.
    There was life after disco!!

'Wouldn't You Like To See' is my personal number one.
    'Mr. C.'
    'Stella'

+ many others, going back to his Cobblestone LPs.

    Mother of the future
    Shabba
    Just Imagine
    Stay with me

These are some of my faves, along with some already mentioned bits.

Though obviously he hasn't got anything on Boris Midney

The only two I remember playing were the aforementioned You Are My Starship and Captain Connors. I remember Captain Connors wasn't helped by the appaling sound quality of the pressing, but I still played it a fair amount.

'Disco Land' from his 'Invitation' LP for when I'm in a disco mood & I also rather like 'Youre a Star' (by Aquarian Dream) when I'm in a jazz-funk mood.
