I was reading a very interesting interview with Ian Levine the other day (in a friend's magazine, so I don't have it to hand) where he said he was introduced to disco (as opposed to Northern Soul) when a friend of his in New York took him to Infinity in (I think) '76 & hundreds of men screaming in unison when the strings came in on a Cerrone track. I'm sure someone here could enlighten me, was this club exclusively gay or was it mixed? It sounded very exciting & very big.(not that size is important :-? :o )
