Here you go, my friend: SBAM
Is anyone familiar with this cover of the Cheryl Lynn hit?
I have it on a tape made by a DJ in the early(?) '90s. I'm not certain I'm punctuating the artist's name correctly; it could be S-Bam, S'Bam or just S Bam. If I remember it correctly, the song is mostly a cover of "Shake It Up Tonight" but also samples something by Aretha Franklin and maybe other songs too.
I've searched for this song using various spellings of the artist's name, all with no luck. Maybe I have the title wrong...? Or maybe it's just an album cut and not a 12-inch...?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Well, that was fast! Thanks, Nicky!
I checked GEMM, of course, but I guess because I searched for "Shake It Up Tonight" in quotes, I eliminated the result "Shake It Up." Or maybe because I was misspelling the artist's name; it never occurred to me that it was one word. Duh.
Anyway, thanks, Nicky.
