Forrest was an American singer that moved to Europe (Holland) where he recorded 'Rock The Boat'. Story goes that he was hired to do backing vocals on the track, but as the actual artist that should have done the song did not show up, he got to do the lead.

Second single he recorded was 'Feel The Need' (cover from Detroit Emeralds' 'Feel The Need In Me') which was also produced by John Tilly and co-produced by Ben Liebrand and has the same sound and feel. Ben Liebrand did both 12" mixes for which he made extensive use of Linn-drums. I was a big fan back then and still like the records. Two other singles from Forrest were 'One Lover' and 'Dancing With My Shadow' which did not do well. He also recorded an album titled 'One Lover' which was on Ariola (208718).
