Going To Vacation In Japan--Disco Shopping!!

If anyone knows, I would like names of stores for Disco Shopping/browsing. Prefer disco CD's, but am flexible. Thank you!

Hi disco everyday, read your posting regarding 'Disco Music' shopping in the land of the 'Rising Sun'. I have never been to Japan, but on one of cable tv's travel shows they made mention of 'out-door' (flea markets) markets. The narrator of the show stated 'alot of cds are sold here, but the majority are 'boot-leg/illegal' copies'. You might find some 'legal' (record label releases) jems. I don't know where in Japan these markets are located, but if you ask at your hotel or maybe at the U.S. Emmbassy they might be able to direct you to one

Hey - I live in Tokyo! Email me and I will give you some addresses for both new and second vinyl and CD's. There are great and not too expensive CD re-issues here. Cost around Euro 18-25, or $ 15 - $ 25.

Your biggest challenges will be to find the actual location of these stores, and to make yourself understood... less than 10% of the population speaks English!

PS Might your trip have something to do with the upcoming World Cup?

Hi disco, I confirm Maarten knows very well, specially if you're looking for vinyl.
I was with him hunting for some old vinyl in Tokyo center and after that I realize that it would have been impossible for me first of all just to find the shop. Then to speak with the people it's difficult, specially with old people.
But it's worth the hunting in Tokyo !
