Wow - no takers... and this is such a nice disco classic. OK - a few more hints. The singer/writer/producer went on to perform his magic for many of today's big time (mostly female) singers. And he adopted a new age religion as well. The album from which this song was taken contained at least two other classic dance cuts. One of those was recorded by others as well.
