    # 2, Same night 1983, Female vocal. The song begings with the words " I'm Not In Love, So don't fortget it, is just a silly faze i'm going through. Great strings one of the best morning music songs.

This song was originally done by 10cc in 1975 as a pop song. Sounds like simply a remix of theirs. Title is "I'm Not In Love".

I believe that the Italian version was also sung by Lama. They were an Italodisco group and the English version was released for North America.

I think #2 is Scherrie Payne with "I'm Not In Love/Girl You're In Love" published late 1982 on Altair records.
Disconet has produced a remix of this song.

    Track 1

That track at 1.01.10 onwards is called "Il Vilerio" by Italian singer Luigi Battisti. A Dutch band called The Chaplin Band recorded it in 1982 and had considerable success worldwide with this track. However, this is the original Luigi Battisti version.

The Italian artist is Lucio Battisti not Luigi and for some reason the Chaplin Band's title is slightly different to Battisti's. I think the Battisti version is El Velero, while the Chaplin Band's is Il Veliero. I don't know why, it's the same tune.

The Scherrie Payne also came out on Carrere. It's a big favourite of DJ Norman Jay here in London. Slightly camp, but brilliant record.

Thanks to everyone for the replies

Francois, I will look into 10 cc to see if that's the version. You can find it on clip # 7 at 11:40.

Hotdiscomix, will look into Scherrie Payne with "I'm Not In Love/Girl You're In Love" "This could be it"

Jol, Thank you I think your are right, it must be Lama because the voices are very similar. It's impossible to find anything by Lama, I do own the one released in the US. Great song!!!
