    Sha-rene, Rosaline Joyce, other questions

Can someone tell me more about two tracks from 1986. Would love to find them on vinyl:

    (1) Sha-rene - I'm good for you. This is a haunting all synth dance track, which to me still stands the test of time. Excellent guitar solo. The track unfortunately sounds as if the high tones are all "lisping".

    (2) Rosaline Joyce - Friends, not lovers. This track is weird. It reminds me a little of the Lisa Lisa tracks with Full Force. If I remember correctly, this was a UK production. The woman has a great voice, but sings seriously off-key

These two tracks are on a tape I compiled back then when DJ-ing. The track also contains Julian Jonah & Paul Hardcastle's "Hot to touch", Human League's "Human" and "Jam", as well as Keith Patrick's "Night to remember", Jeff Lorber's "Facts of life", Stacy Lattisaw's "Jump into my life", Atlantic Starr's "Armed & dangerous" (produced by Maurice White), Bobbi Humphrey's "No way" and some other stuff. Good tape actually... :)

And does someone have the credits to "Rescue me" by Sybil Thomas. Is this the same artist as Sybil "Don't make me over"?

And just to check... The Bombers were British, right?

The Rosaline Joyce LP came out of the Elite records stable, if I remember correctly - Ellis, Hinds and those guys. They were always quite progressive. Look out for 'Love So Fine' by Sahara, you may like it also.

Sybil Thomas is related to the late Rufus Thomas - either grand-daughter or niece...she may even be one of his daughters. She's not the same 'Don't Make Me Over' Sybil.
What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?

Thanks Forrrce... I recall Rosalyn Joyce being on a white-ish label, something like 80's Phonogram, or London Records. I'll keep an eye out for it :D
