This is Hamilton Bohannon's "Let Start the Dance II (2)."
.......but I can't find it. I've been googling away trying to identify a disco track thats been used as a sample in countless tunes since. I've checked out songs called "everybody" "lets do it" do it good" and have downloaded tracks by KC & the sunshine band, Madonna and a Taste of Honey in an attempt to id it.
Its a male vocal with an upbeat funky beat. The vocals go along the lines of:
Come and do it come on lets do it, come on and do it, do it.... Everybody(sang in a higher voice), get on up and (dance?) get on up now.
The music cuts out and the guy does a kind of early version of a rap - not sure exactly what he says, but there's a "rhythm" and a "shake" in there somewhere. The music comes back in, quiet at first but gets progressively louder.
If it's any help I've heard it mixed in with Galaxy's War many times.
Cheers guys
