Best From Artist 7 KC & The Sunshine Band

Just when you thought this silly little topic disappeared into some black hole, it's back
Guess what it came back with. KC & The Sunshine Band. My pick here (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty.

I'm undecided between Shake your Booty and get Down Tonite. But it's one of these two for sure.

Well, "Get Down Tonight" is undeniably classic, but my favorite was a later release (1983) that didn't resurrect their careers, but should have: "(You Said You'd) Gimme Some More" on Epic. I loved this record, but it didn't exactly burn up the charts, unfortunately. Anyone else remember?

Marky--That one is my favorite too (surprise!). But I didn't post it because I thought no one else would remember it. I should have known....

Get Down Tonight - the long version, not the 7" edit. I never saw them live, but I always imagined that the original KC outfit should have been one awesome live band.

I saw a biopic on KC recently - perhaps on Biography/History Channel (which they carry here in Japan). It was a sad story of lost fortunes, drugs and booze, silly fights with his partner Finch and still playing live - I guess to pay the bills.

"(Shake Shake Shake) Shake Your Booty" and "Keep It Coming Love" are my favourite K.C.-songs but I also like "Get Down Tonight" very much.

"Please Don't Go" is my favorite KC song, although you can't really call it a disco song. "That's The Way (I Like It)" is another fave of mine.
