The Best of L.J. Johnson: My Destination Is Love (CD - Hot Productions) but that version is really short...
Do you know if is possible to find the full 12" (on CD) ?
Or the original 12"?

You'll find a 5:48 version on Side 2 of 'LJ's Love Suite' on AVI from 1979 (AVI-6064) . Why Hot didn't simply reissue this album with bonus tracks instead of giving us that Best Of with too many tracks in annoyingly short versions we'll never know.

Come to think of it, the full 9min mix of the 1977 Barbara Pennington original has never been on cd either. Again, Hot could surely have included it on either their Barbara Best Of or reissued 'Midnight Ride' cds.

These minor oversights aside, we do have to thank Hot Productions for reissuing Ian Levine produced Disco era albums from Barbara, Evelyn Thomas, James Wells, Seventh Avenue and Croisette on cd and i for one miss em !
